Mission Statement
- The mission of the La Plata Youth Soccer Association is to offer the tremendous benefits of soccer to the youth of Southern Maryland. Fun, physical conditioning, teambuilding, friends and competition are just some of the many benefits. Players aged 4 to 18 can enjoy our program.
- An extensive in-house recreational league forms the core of our program, with over 700 children playing soccer in both the Spring and Fall seasons. LPYSA also offers Rec Plus and Select teams.
- LPYSA encourages its coaches to obtain training through the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA). Many coaches have F, E or D licenses.
- This organization cannot function without the support of its parents. If you would like to volunteer, email Ryan Mudd at president@lpsoccer.org. Donations are always welcome as well!
